Big Band Arrangement - Andy Wheelock, "Up, Rise!"

This arrangement was commissioned in 2022 by the University of Wyoming Jazz Studies program. This tune is the last composition on Andy Wheelock’s debut album, “View From Here.” This exciting tune is brought to life in the big band setting with muted trumpets adding color to Andy’s influences of the Cuban son clave.. Scored for 5 saxophones, 4 trumpets, 4 trombones, and rhythm section, this arrangement is useful for educators.
